WHAT CAN PERFORMANCE NUTRITION DO FOR MY GAME?

Time

NUTRIENT TIMING

Identifying when is the right time to eat meals and snacks leading up to and after practices, training sessions, games to support optimal energy and recovery needs.

HYDRATION

A 2% loss of fluids sets you up for decreased performance -- the ability to miss a shot, slow speed, and show up fatigue in OT. Understanding proper hydration throughout the course of your training is key.

THE RIGHT FOODS

So much misinformation is out there regarding what food is GOOD or BAD. Identifying the RIGHT types of carbs and food sources for your training or goals can help you perform your best.

EATING ENOUGH

Back-2-Back Games, Tournaments, 3-in-3s, Travel, and little down time can make it difficult for athletes to fuel ENOUGH. Gain simple strategies to provide ample energy to stay ready and avoid fatigue/sickness.
